Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Durango's website.  We are a volunteer organization and as such this website is under construction.  Like a mall, some of the elements are open and available, such as our events page.  Please keep checking back as we add and update content.  Hope to see you at one of our meetings soon.

The Kiwanis Club through donations and volunteerism, supports many organizations in La Plata County, including:

  • Boys & Girls Club 
  • Dollywood Reading Program
  • Safety Day for 2nd Graders
The Kiwanis https://kiwanis-durango.memberday.org/homeClub of Durango holds two major fundraisers each year:  The Bill Mashaw Memorial Golf Tournamentand Pancake Day.  Between the two Kiwanis raises over $20,000, all of which goes back into the community, supporting the Boy & Girls Club, Youth Sports and much, much more.   
 The Kiwanis Club of Durango meets at noon every Thursday at TBK Bank Downtown in the Community Room.  Each meeting is an opportunity to join with like-minded people who are "changing the world one child and one community at a time."

Kiwanis Annual Pancake Day
September 19, 2026

Pancake Day is the Kiwanis Club of Durango's longest running fundraiser, dating back to the early days of the club.  All funds raised by the Kiwanis Club of Durango stay in La Plata County.

Ways to participate:
  • Buy tickets for you, your family, your co-workers, your employees, strangers, or anyone else you know that may want to eat pancakes.  See any Kiwanian, or link here to our ticket sales website
  • Donate to the Silent Auction.  The Kiwanis Club is looking for great items that will help bring in funds to help us serve the youth of La Plata County
  • Donate money to help with our mission of "improving the world, one child and one community at a time."  You can donate at the same time you purchase tickets
  • Sponsor Pancake Day.  Your sponsorship gives you visibility, tickets and more 
Advance tickets are available online or from a Kiwanian through September 18th .  Take advantage of advanced sales pricing of $12 for adults (over 10 years old).  Tickets are available at the door or online the day of the event for $15.
