• Community Service Projects: Help fund essential resources for our community improvement projects, such as public health drives, park improvements, handing out bicycle bells and many others.
• Support for the School-Aged Children: Every year the Kiwanis Club support the Boys & Girls Club of La Plata County.  In addition, through the Dollywood Reading Project, we provide books for young readers in several area grade schools.
• Youth Development Programs: Sponsor events and workshops that empower the younger generation, such as Key Club at Durango High School, leadership training, skills development, and educational support.
• Scholarships: Through fundraising initiatives and generous donations, The Kiwanis Club of Durango is able to offer several scholarships to students at Fort Lewis College through the McKinley Foundation.
